THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACHES IN NAPLES AND SURROUNDINGS

Bagno Elena (Via Posillipo 14): is located in Posillipo and is very famous because it is surrounded by many Liberty style buildings. On the beach there is a private pier with solarium and the restaurant (Ristorantino del Bagno Elena) where you can taste excellent dishes of the Mediterranean tradition with sea view.
How to get to Bagno Elena:
By bus: take the n. C16 from Corso Vittorio Emanuele and then take the bus n. 140 from Piazza Vittoria/Mergellina, STOP: Largo Sermoneta. Continue on foot.
Bagno Sirena (Via Posillipo 357): is located next to the wonderful Palazzo Donn’Anna and has both an area equipped with sun beds and restaurant service and a free beach with free access. Since it is a small beach, you should go during the week or early in the morning to get a spot. The entrance to the equipped area costs € 10.

Baia delle Rocce Verdi (Green Rocks Bay, Via Posillipo 68): the Bay is one of the most beautiful in Posillipo and is located near the Scoglione of Marechiaro. It is particularly known for its crystal waters and because there are two salt water pools. Next to them there is the terrace with the bar/restaurant, excellent for an aperitif and/or dinner on warm summer nights. Scoglione of Marechiaro: it’s a large tuff rock near the beach of Marechiaro and is only reachable by boat: the route starts from Calata Ponticello and costs € 5 return ticket. Once arrived it is possible to drive beach umbrellas and/or rent sun beds and deck-chairs.

Riva Fiorita in Posillipo: best known among the Neapolitans as “Giuseppone a mare” because of the famous restaurant exposed to the bank, it is ideal for those who love diving. The beach is surrounded by sumptuous villas, such as Villa Rosebery, the summer residence of the President of Italian Republic, and Villa Volpicelli, the set of a famous Neapolitan soap opera (“Un posto al sole”). By EAV bus: from Piazza Garibaldi take the EAV bus to Napoli-Monte di Procida, STOP: Bacoli, Via Lucullo 148. Continue on foot.
Lost Paradise: it is located in Bacoli, just behind the Castle of Baia. It offers different services: you can choose between standard sun beds and large beds with a sea view; completely free canoes for those who love sport. Spiaggia dello Schiacchetiello: it is located in Bacoli in front of the islet of Punta Pennata which can be reached on foot at low tide. The beach is made up of rocks entirely in tuff and has a restaurant. Admission is free.
How to get to Spiaggia dello Schiacchetiello:
By EAV bus: from Piazza Garibaldi take the EAV bus to Napoli-Monte di Procida, STOP: Bacoli, Via Risorgimento. Continue on foot.
To reach Spiaggia dello Schiacchetiello you have to get to the entrance of Villa Mirabilis in Via Pennata (behind Piscina Mirabilis) and go down a few steps.
